Title: Steak with Mushroom Sauce - Sl 9/83

Yield: 6 Servings

2tbLemon juice
2tbWorcestershire sauce
2tbMolasses
1tsSeasoned salt or Creole seasoning
1tsSeasoned pepper
2lbSirloin steak
  Mushroom Sauce
MUSHROOM SAUCE
1/4cButter or margarine
1lbFresh mushrooms; sliced
2tbWorcestershire sauce
1/2tsHot sauce

Combine first 5 ingredients, stirring well; pour into a large shallow dish. Add steak; cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour, turning once. Drain steak, reserving marinade. Grill over hot coals 8 to 12 minutes on each side or to desired degree of doneness, basting frequently with marinade. Serve Mushroom Sauce over steak. Yield: 6 servings.

MUSHROOM SAUCE: Melt butter in a large skillet; add remaining ingredients, and cook over low heat 15 minutes or until mushrooms are tender. Yield: about 1-1/2 cups.
